Owner / Operator
Daniel Vela
Major Scoops™ is owned and operated by Daniel Vela, a man who has built his life around service, hard work, and high standards. Born and raised in Mystic, Connecticut, Daniel served in the United States Marine Corps from 2001 to 2005 and completed two combat tours in Iraq.
After his military service, Daniel worked as a commercial diver in the Gulf of Mexico from 2006 to 2013, gaining firsthand experience in demanding, high risk environments where discipline, reliability, and attention to detail mattered every day. He later became a field service technician, traveling internationally to install critical well control equipment for customers around the world.
Through his dedication to quality and his commitment to strong health, safety, and environmental practices, Daniel was eventually promoted to QHSE Manager. Throughout his career, he has always taken pride in delivering dependable service and doing the job the right way.
Today, Daniel brings that same work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to excellence to Major Scoops, helping families enjoy cleaner, safer yards with service they can trust.
